That review gives me hope about the battery life, and I gotta admit while the 3d is super cool that's the not the deciding factor of why i'm buying it. Here's to hoping this phone lives up to and maybe even exceeds expectations.
I'm delighted to hear from a couple of these early reviews that battery life appears slightly better than the EVO 4G. Unfortunately, both the Wall Street Journal and CNET comment that call quality isn't the greatest (though apparently it is tolerable). Fortunately, I'm one of those who spends more time doing other stuff on the phone, and only a limited time actually talking on it. So what I've seen just whets my appetite to get my hands on this baby....I'm hoping that the magic of early ordering and (hopefully) overnight delivery will work for me, and I'll be able to post on this forum from my EVO 3D next Wednesday!
Do people still talk on the phone? Lol. The same comments were made about the EVO 4g call quality, never had a problem myself.
Yep, I'm also totally content with my EVO 4G call quality. Forgot to mention above, I do a fair amount of photography with my phone (the best camera is always the one you have with you) and I have NOT been pleased with the EVO 4G camera, I've been jealous of my iPhone 4-toting photographer buddies (say what you will, the iPhone 4 has an excellent camera). But the favorable comments about the EVO 3D camera have me excited! Several reviewers have commented on how good the 3G camera is. That is something I'm looking forward to!
Bah... This is the third review where the call quality was brought up as weakness. How are manufacturers still messing this up? Call quality is not that difficult to make acceptable.
