Cocktailbar service draining battery?

I noticed the "Coctailbar service" on my Edge used 43% of the battery life while the screen used just 15%. I thought it was some sort of virus program that ran for nearly 4 hours of the 7 hours since the last charge.

A search of the XDA Developers Forum indicated it actually has something to do with the control of the Edge screen and that the battery drain is caused by the animated clock displays that occur on the Edge when the flip wallet is closed. They suggested changing the run time of this animation - but HOW? I cant see anywhere to change it.
Has anyone else noticed this battery drainer?
Does anyone know how to change the timing?
I dont want to disable it is I find it attractive and cant really believe it can uses so much power as it only goes for a few seconds when the case is closed.

Does anyone else have any information on this "Cocktailbar Service"?

Of course it drains the battery. You need to power up the ice machine and tip the bartender. Sorry....couldn't resist.

The problem is I am in Australia, it is now summer and at 40 degrees Celsius (well over 100F), the ice machine cannot keep up and the bartender is in the pool! I am left with an automatic Cocktailbar Service that is out of control! How do I reign it in?

(Where did they get such as stupid name?!)

Turn off the "style clock for flip wallet". The "cocktailbar" disappears and you get the regular express me panel when you close the cover.
