Never heard of either, myself... your best bet for information on them is usually reading the thread they are posted to. Read the OP and if the thread is too long to go through, read at least the last 5-10 pages of each. Will only take a few minutes and you will get an idea of what users are currently experiencing with the ROM, any issues or complaints, etc...

Battery life/performance are always vague things to ask about and hard to get meaningful answers regarding, and batt life especially is usually affected much more by other factors such as the kernel, apps installed, usage, signal, etc. As you can imagine, most ROM or kernel devs do not design their work with crappy performance and batt life in mind, lol, so they will usually (rightly so) tell you that it depends much more on the user than the ROM itself.
