Color choice

Do you feel that the color of the phone changes your perception of how the screen looks? I would think it would have some influence even though the screen technology is exactly the same. Probably getting an N3 tonight or tomorrow. Curious for your thoughts, thanks for your time.

I agree that black does make the screen look larger.
Better yet, it hides the sensors and frame around the screen. Black just makes the Note 3 look classier!

If you're planning on using it w/o a case, or with just a bumper case, the black has more of a leather feel to it, and the white is straight plastic.

Sweet! I've had mine for about 3 months and I absolutely love it! Coming from iPhone..... And just way better imo I honeypot enjoy it!

Just for a change I may get the white and see if I like it. At least I'll have 14 days to decide. And I will get a case. I've had Seidio surface cases for my last two phones as I use their holster. But my wife just got a Tech21 case for her new S5 and I think it feels great. Doesn't have the kickstand the Seidio does, but I rarely use it anyway so don't think I'd miss it.

Black makes the screen look huge and disguises the notification bar better when within an app...it also hides all the sensor and notification light ports better...I didn't get white because i am a girl and it would show more if I got makeup or anything on it...the black is elegant clean and stunning...the white also appears larger in hand but if using a cover it will only matter from the viewing aspect...I think of it as I don't see too many white tv's out there so black must be better for the visual aspect....When you get the phone got settings and try the different picture options under >display>sceenmode...I have mine set to dynamic and it is a stunning picture and bright, it helps with outdoor viewing.

I think phone color is purely a personal choice.
Not sure why anyone is concerned about how big it makes the screen "look", the screen size is the screen size.
Get the color you like, in the end it's the phone that is truly spectacular.

After writing what I said about getting the white one, I thought about the tv thing as you pointed out. Won't have a chance to get to the store until later...

As I just posted in another thread, got it tonight!! I LOVE IT!! Went with the white, and so far I'm very pleased with it. Picked up a cheap case from Best Buy, and ordered a Tech 21 case from Amazon. Got to sleep now but going to be difficult. Thanks to all who replied here!

Just wanted to report that I'm very impressed with the speed of this thing. The screen feels hyper responsive with zero lag. I do run Nova Launcher, btw. As for the bezel color, while I can see (no pun intended) what those who prefer the black bezels are talking about, I'm with those that say the white doesn't bother or distract me in any way. I'm no videophile, but the screen quality is so good it doesn't matter to me what color the bezel is. Love this phone!

I miss having a white phone. I loved my white S III. I love my Note 3, but the black hides way too much for me.
