color of battery when charginging

I did the jb update a few days ago. Tonight I had to charge the tab 2 (7.0)..when it was ICS OS and turned off plugged in and charging the battery was green. Since the update to JB...it is now gold when charging..but only on the charging mode. When using the tablet it is always green. If they were going to change the color it would make more sense for it to be red (extremely low), gold for low, anything above then green. I realize we have the percentage..I don't know what the line of thinking was to change it to gold...thoughts? nt
