Color Shifting At Different Angles

Is it normal for the AMOLED screen tint to change when viewing at different angles? When looking dead on, white is quite white. However, right as I changed angles from any direction, there is a pretty strong greenish tint.

That's the deal with amoled screens I've found. They get a bluish tint off axis. Lcd screens just get dim on off axis.

Hmm... I'll have to see if I get used to it. Having been on the iPhone for the past 5 years, I've become really accustomed to its screen tech, so it's a bit of a shock coming to AMOLED and seeing the color shifts.

It's a bit of shame. Great colors, poor whites at angles. Maybe I'm just really sensitive to the color shifts, but at least it's good to know that it's considered normal and that many other owners across a lot of generations of Samsung smartphones it seems (from what I've researched) have experienced.

Something else I also noticed is that the text is somewhat fuzzy. There isn't nearly as much sharpness as you can find on iPhones. It's very apparent when you have them side-by-side. I'm going to definitely see if I can become accustomed to it during the return period because if there's anything that will make me return the phone... it would be screen quality.

I'm the opposite. I can never go back to a non amoled screen.
