Color temp and whites

So, can someone who owns one comment on the color temperature and in particular whites? I've been disappointed with Android screens that are either too cold (blue-ish) or too warm (yellow-ish). Haven't come across any reviews that say too much about just how "white" whites are, which can make or break the ebook reading experience.

Prob should stay with your iPad.
 
Don't know but for or me, I would prefer to read a book having an off-white background. Intense bright white backgrounds are hard on my eyes. White text on grey to black background is easier to read.
