Colorado reception

Does anybody that has this phone live in Northeastern Colorado? Like around brush or so? I'm going to college out here and I just bought one and I'm hoping that it holds a signal. I guess you can chime in if you live in a lower coverage area where your thunderbolt or other phone performed well.

i live in grand junction. good long way away from you, but of course also relatively remote.

i came from the droid x. i am very glad i took all the forum talk about reception issues and speaker sound quality with a grain of salt. forums do attract people who are having problems. my reception has not noticeably declined at all with the gnex. no dropped calls so far, and i get 3g wherever i did before. the speaker sound quality is fine, in fact sometimes a little TOO loud, rather than too quiet, which is what i was reading.

I also live in Grand Junction and switched (for the most part) from a Droid X. I have seen a huge drop in signal though north of town. My fiance lives only a few miles from 3 antennas. The Verizon level 2 Tech guru's are clueless why she had 4 bars while trying the Razr for a few weeks and one or none since. So I guess it's just a case by case basis....This phone however is definitely worth it if you can manage the reception problems.


Word on the internets is that the next update should really help also...maybe you should wait until then if you really want this phone.
