Hello! I just noticed the colors of my phone are more vibrant. They are richer in tone and not as washed out now. Thoughts?

I know the G4 has a feature where it'll reduce the contrast when in brightly lit areas, such as direct sunlight, to make it easier to read. It's not part of the screen settings that I've been able to find, but hard coded into the system.

Have you noticed if that washed out look happens when extra bright out, or is it more often?

I noticed the difference at my work, I work in an office and even when I went outside the color remained the same. I have it set to the 'auto' brightness setting to help with battery life.

Adaptive brightness will actually end up using more battery to keep adjusting the screen brightness

It could be one of these settings might be on/changed in Accessibility settings for Vision

These are the defaults I have

...yea.. doesn't look any different then mine. the wallpaper itself makes it difficult to compare, too.

If the screen color adjustment got turned on without your knowledge and it was preset before it might look that way. I keep mine on with the circle in that spot to improve contrast.12582.jpg
