com.google.process.gapp has stopped working on my droid 4 help!

I have a motorola droid 4 and i keep getting the com.google.process.gapp has stoped working. my internet works fine as does my hot spot but it seems that my google play store does not want me to download anything and when i click accept & download it just brings me to the screen before it and about 10 minuets ago before i posted this i tried some suggestions that people gave for a galaxy with jelly bean operating system and it didnt work. and google play is now force closing its self pleas help!
if i factory re store do i have to call verizon to get my phone re activaited or will it just whipe my memmory and leave my sim and activation alone?​

A factory reset shouldn't interfere with the SIM card or any cellular network-based configurations on the phone. If that's any help, you can go ahead and hard-reset your phone now.

As I've already mentioned to Tenkie, a factory reset should solve the issue. If the problem persists, you may have incorrectly installed the ROM. You can also try to fix permissions with clockworkmod, if you have root and that custom recovery installed in your handset.
