After updating to KitKat, I get an error after a reboot saying this process has stopped.

What is it and should I be concerned?

Thanks.

I did as well. In doing some research the fix is go to settings then application manager hit the menu button then press reset application preferences. This will reset any apps that you have disabled if any, then allow them to update and disable them again if you wish. I haven't had the error message since.

I got this error once after rebooting following the update, but it didn't seem to affect anything.

I do have swift key. Haven't had the error since I did what I mention in my earlier post. I did Google the error with Swiftkey and did find what you mentioned. I guess will uninstall it until a fix is found.

I'm running SwiftKey also and I don't believe I've gotten this error. Does it only occur when you reboot?

Yes, only on reboot according to most of the "chatter", but there are a few reports of it causing some other problems.

OK, thanks. I've been using my phone with kitkat since yesterday and all seems fine, but let me reboot and see if I get an error.

Why are people so agitated about this issue on the Swiftkey forum? As far as I have been able to determine, the bug has absolutely no functional consequences: it is just a message that gets displayed once when you reboot.

It causes some occasional "Forced Closed" while using.
