combonation of problems

as you can all see im EXTREMELY new to this website and the forums. ive just been looking for days and i really cant seem to find a description of my probelm anywhere so i decided to register here and see if this works out. my Razr Maxx will random power down and power back on. now that sounds like a basic fix but its happening an average of 15-20x a day and that is really no exxageration. ik its a power down because the turn-on "animation" shows, and when it turns back on i have absolutly ZERO phone signal. where the 3-4G signal should be displayed is the sillouette of the "bars" with a red circle and a slash threw it. like the "ty for not smoking" signs were all so familiar with. it powers off and on about 5times before it catches something and even then its the gray coverage and 15mins later i can hear the "DROID" and the shutter of the power-up animation. i can only imagine the battery thats wasted playing this animation over and over, and the ammount of communication im NOT recieving. Today, August 14th 2012 the Phone has turned off and on 18x so far. i guess i was wondering, before i do all kindsa scary resets and downloads and leaks, if any1 else is in the same boat?

Yup, factory reset. I know it's a hassle but all those times of those Verizon employees telling us to factory reset may have been.............right.

Anyways if that doesn't work and problems still persist, take it to Verizon and tell them that you did a factory reset all ready and see if they will exchange for a new one.
