Comcast wants T-Mobile

Agreed. If Comcast buys T-Mobile, no doubt that would be the end of the Uncarrier as we know it.

Dish expressed an interest a while back, and with the unused bandwidth Dish holds a merger with them makes a fair amount of sense. Maybe Comcast sticking their nose in will motivate Dish to get something done.

Then there's Google, who now has ties with T-Mobile via Project Fi. If T-Mobile is bought by Comcast, what happens to Project Fi? Fi will go nowhere if Comcast pulls T-Mobile out of Fi, Sprint alone cannot keep Fi viable as Google envisioned it. So...might Google jump in?

Anything could happen...

I am sure they're exploring many options -- I will wait till more confirmed information comes out (like actual negotiation talk) :).

It's a rumor. Comcast already said they weren't interested.

They both deserve each other. Just spent 40 min trying to find T-Mobile store in Deland Fla. 3 false locations and #'s.
Called national # and they don't have Wal-Mart listed. Interesting since Wal-Mart says otherwise.
All I wanted to do was to find out about switching from Verizon.
Customer service rep knew Nothing about changing apn settings or anything tec.
Trasfered to rep #2. Sales pitch galore. Just give me the procedure to transfer and the prices for data.
Verizon never looked better. So now I'll buy my lg g4 from them and keep my service with them. Locked bootloader and all.
Way to go T-Mobile. Make it unfriendly as you can.

I've been with T-Mobile almost 18 years and always gotten good customer service. Maybe because I have been with them so long I just know how to find the answers I need.

To find a T-Mobile Store - T-Mobile.com

Of course they don't list Walmart. They're not Walmart and are not interested in selling a Walmart plan. The same $30/mo plan Walmart sells is available from T-Mobile as a online-only deal. Walmart gave you wrong info.

Don't talk to CS reps and about stuff like APNs. Just ask for tech support.

Too bad. You could save a lotta money!

As with most customer service interactions.. It depends on your area. Some areas just have bad reps. You can find a customer service horror story for any carrier.

I'm sure Google has a long running contract with the companies they chose for Fi.
