That's kinda what I thought . . Funny how I look for a good bright screen when choosing a phone, but I'm finding that I don't mind running in comfort view for extended periods of time in the mornings . . .
I've seen a lot of people reporting forgetting it on for days and not noticing, it's really good looking and not straining the eyes as much, especially at night
I can't imagine any reason comfort view would affect battery life at all. On an LCD screen, power usage is the same regardless of what's displayed, as long as the backlight is on. I keep it on medium 24x7 because I like the warmer look.
