Hey all,

I'm super excited to make the jump from my Verizon LG V10 to the Nexus 6p. I'm long overdue for getting back into a True Google Nexus device. The last (and only) device that I ever had was the (Sprint) Galaxy Nexus back in 2011.

I also bought some accessories and cases to help in my journey - I've attached screenshots....

Glad to be Back!

make sure the cable you buy is benson approved

1000% this.

He's waging a one-person war against bad USB-C gear.... and for good reason... His test equipment recently got fried by a bad USB-C cable.

Check the products that were purchased for his stamp of approval. If you don't see his review, cancel the order and look for one that does pass his tests.

Thanks for the tip. The adapters that I purchased were on his list - so that's good. Here are the links to the cables that I bought... I purposely read all the reviews for issues, etc - so I kinda knew what to look for before buying. Hopefully the ones I have ordered are decent, and just haven't made his list yet...

Yeah, I got that RavPower pack on a lightning sale a week or so ago. It's really nice.... I like the fact that you can charge it with either micro or USB-C too. And it's fast. It charges my 6P as quickly as the stock charging brick can.

Maybe I'll skip that Pleson cable when it gets here...

Get Benson approved cables. I have a cheapo one and my wall charger heats up pretty bad after 30 minutes. But with the Benson approved ones, never gets hot. Warm but nowhere near as warm as the cheapo ones.

same here, $55 at Amazon

So these cables will absolutely ruin my phone or charger? Ugh...

Welcome back! The Galaxy Nexus (on Verizon...yeesh) was my first Nexus device too. I've been sticking with the Nexus line since then, but I can honestly say this is far and away the best Nexus ever made, so you should be in for a treat!

Ordering a 64GB Frost Nexus 6P today! :) My first Nexus was the Galaxy Nexus on Verizon. I've also been using a Nexus 7 & Nexus 9 at home. I've been using a LG G2 for over 2 years, looking forward to having stock Android again for my phone.

Just still deciding what case to get. I want a clear case this time so I can actually see the phone. :)

Always look for cables approved by Benson. He went through a ton on amazon and tested them then gave his review.

Yep... I just ordered 4 additional cables from his approved list!
