Palm had something good going for them w/ webos. Then they created poor hardware, a horrible marketing scheme, a botched launch on Verizon, and a clear message of "Thanks for buying, please hurry up and wait" for > 2 years. That may change w/ the Pre 3, but I'm done waiting. I think it's time to move on.
Thinkin' about the EVO 3D - coworker has one and it just seems buttery smooth and very responsive which is fantastic. I'm not really a fan of really large phones (Evo 4g) but I like that they went to the 16:9 aspect ratio - makes it a little easier to fit in the pocket. I've heard (and seen) a lot of horror stories about the battery life on the Evo 4G, but I've been reading the 3D seems to be improved (aside from Engadget's review) - but I'll listen to the user base
