Hello all. I'm on a SERO plan w Sprint, so I'm limited to what they have to offer. My first and so far only smartphone has been curve 8330 and 8530, both never gave me any issues and I have been hooked on physical keyboads for 3 years now.
I"m on the fence as it is hard to say if the new curve 9350 is good or do you believe the horror stories.
Now, about Android: The Conquer4G came up FREE and W/O MIR which is ideal for my taste, but not so sure about the 4G as it would be spotty usage and i'd have to pay an extra $10/m just to have it. Also, as awesome as the phone seems to be based on reviews, there are only (2) posts on this phone and non of the rooting community have even commented on this phone.
My second choice is the Marquee. I'll be in that forum studying all the wisdom that I have found this wonderful website (thank you Androidcentral) has to offer.
My number one most important feature/function for me is "the phone". Yes, they are "phones" and as many, i no longer have a landline so i depend on this to make and receive calls. So signal strength and audio quality is most important to me.
Everything beyond that is just 'nice' additions to add to the fun. That's why "reviews" on phones bother me, they spend the whole time talking pixels and mHz and speed scores, they end up just brushing on the topic of signal and audio quality.
I'll check some of the other noobie posts to see if there's someone in my shoes and of course read all the feedback. In fact, this website is the biggest reason i'm even considering switching to an android phone. The advice, tips and so on are a real value added blessing and i know i'll have a better experience with whatever phone i get from this site....though would like to see more people w the Conquer.
