Communication failed when trying to update

Is what I get when I search for an update, I even called att and the rep said my kernel version is old, but my phone won't update.... anyone have this issue...I don't think I've ever had an update, maybe one back in July....
Anyone else get this or know why

since it says the server is at fault, its probably the carriers fault (maybe the server is too busy) and not the phone.
have you tried again?
if it still doesnt work, try updating with Samsung Kies on your computer?

Do what I did and swap out your sim card. It worked for me.
