Community rom 2.1 question

I have a silly question I have installed community rom 2.0 and when I install the 2.1 patch it says installed sucessfully but when I go to settings it still shows 2.0 is this correct or is the patch suppose to change the version

It's correct - there is a mention of it in the original thread here.
From the post:
build.prop is incorrect for version 2.1...it still says UKB 2.0 (my bad) *6.24

That's correct. It still shows as 2.0 even with 2.1 installed.
