Compact Phones

Anyone else wish more manufacturers would make phones no taller than 146mm ?

Right now the only viable Android options in NA seem to be:

-Asus Zenfone 9
-Galaxy S23
-The End

The Zenfone only has a year left of updates since they're only doing two years apparently. And it seems that the ZF 10 will be a bigger phone at 6.3" display.

I have an S23+, and it is the perfect size for me. Anything smaller is too small.

I was interested in the S23 for a few reasons, one of which being its size. It's too bad that the market for small/compact phones is pretty much nonexistent. I am currently using the Pixel 7 and am finding it easy for my small hands to wield.

Pixel 5 is still the perfect size and weight for me! Not trying to be something it's not, not trying to look better than it needs to be etc. Basic, simple and underrated.

The Google Pixel 5 is *definitely* an underrated phone! I loved mine and still use it for workouts and video watching.

I updated to a pixel 7 from a 4A just because I wanted something better. Now I hardly use it since I tried an iPhone 13 mini. I got it for the size, really getting tired with huge phones, its the perfect size for being easily one handed and pocketable. My pixel 7 seems a huge slab in comparison. Only problem is its an iPhone, so little customization and the usual iPhone annoyances . I don't get why everyone likes big phones so much. I see them half sticking out of girls jeans pockets all the time. Tight jeans and huge phones, looks comical.
I wish google would make a mini pixel, might as well wish for the moon.

I totally agree. I'm now getting to the point that I can use my Pixel 7 one handed or at least being able to maneuver it with more ease. It's on the verge of being too big though. The 7a sounds like the perfect blend of power and size.

The pixel 7 and 7a are really close in size and weight. Very little difference. I have a 7 and it seems humongous next to my iPhone mini and it IS humongous next to that phone Lol. I grow tired of the pixel 7's size and girth and wish I could cram it all into the size of the mini. I'm torn between the two as I prefer android and all it has to offer over iPhone but the size factor gets me back to the mini every time until I get fed up with iOS and all their restrictions. Their speech to text and auto correct is terrible and Siri needs some lessons from the assistant and the widgets! Yikes the widgets are still amazingly bad. It's got to be the tight restrictions.

Still looking for a happy medium.
