Completely remove Bixbt from an S9 Plus?

[Android Central Question]

I've had an S9 plus for less than 24 hours and I'm ready to smash it with a hammer. I have NO use for something constantly interrupting my work flow,

Searches on google give about 10 ways to do it, all of which do not work. Most likely Samsung reads the same posts and updates their software.

Any current (Aug 2020) answers on how to do this without giving Bixby permissions to control my account only to then disable it?

Welcome to the forums. You should be able to disable Bixby, but not completely remove it.

I think what OP means is that before you can disable it, you have to give it access to your data. AFAIR that threw me off too.
