Curved edges plus minimal bezels might make it difficult to use. The bottom navigation buttons are already pretty easy to press, with no chin it's going to be very easy to press accidentally. So really, the only way to hold it is from the left and right sides, which is curved already, so it'll probably put a lot of pressure on your fingers, especially with the pointy solid metal frame. My issue with the S8+ were these exact reasons, got annoyed very fast. What do you think? BTW the V20 has a larger bottom chin and flatter, more comfortable sides.

I'll reserve the right to pass judgement when I hold one in my hand.

Do we really know much about the extent of the curvature, at this point?

There's extreme, as in the GS8's, there's none, as in a perfectly flat screen like my Moto DT2, and there's what I would call a roll off, as in my older Nokia Icon/L930. The roll off on the Icon is actually quite nice and really facilitates swiping from the edges. Based on the image at the top of this article: https://www.androidcentral.com/lg-v30-will-have-amoled-display I'm hopeful the "curved" edges are more towards the Nokia Icon side of the scale than the Samsung GS8 side.

Here are a few Icon photos for reference. Its a more pronounced roll off than can be easily photographed:

You do realize that the V20 has Bezeless sides

The sides of the V20 is flatter, with a nice natural curve. The problem with the S8 and S8+ is that the side metal frame is tiny and it puts pressure on your hands. After holding it for an hour, it leaves a mark on my hand. I'm guessing the V30 will be like the S8 with curved edges and a tiny frame in the middle.

I meant from the point of view that if the side is a point of impact it has a good chance of breaking especially uncased.
