Concerned I got a dud!

Just came back to the evo after leaving for Verizon and the evo I got seems to be slower than I remember. I was wondering on average how long it takes everyone else to load web pages and such. Also my YouTube app barely loads videos in hq they just sit and takes forever to load. Wondering if their might be something wrong with the phone that its not that fast or an I just remembering this phone being faster than it is.

The same steps in the Getting Started with Android - Tips and Tricks section on Battery Life Tips and Tricks also help speed up the phone.

Remember when you first get it, it takes it a while to download all of your Facebook and Gmail contact info including photos, etc.

Still with a little tweaking, you can get a faster response and more battery life. A simple reboot may help a lot after you do some tweaking.

Make sure your Evo is up to date by going to menu-settings-system updates-HTC update.
