I'm at a concert tomorrow night. I'll be about 100 feet from the stage. I know I'm not going to get amazing pictures of the group, but what are the best s9+ camera settings for concert pics?

That's not an easy question because every concert is different, every moment has different lighting (sometimes super bright, sometimes spotlight, sometimes dark, sometimes still, sometimes moving fast...) In general concerts tend to be on the darker side, so try to use brighter exposures. This, however, conflicts with trying to get crisp pictures of fast-moving subjects (to achieve that you have to speed up the aperture time, which takes in less light).

In my experience, unless you want to print the pictures, taking video and letting the phone adjust the settings on its own usually produces much better results for quick captures off the video.

Good luck with that. I was just at the Restless Heart concert last Friday and left my real camera in the car thinking I'll be close to the stage and the telephoto on my phone would be fine. Big mistake. This phone sucks now. On video it keeps going off exposure compensation when i move it around and when using the telephoto and back to the wide angle it kicks off the exposure compensation and then it's tedious to get it back where it needs to be so it is TOO BRIGHT!!!! I can't keep it where it needs to be for the spotlight. Then on photo mode same problem. After each photo it resets back to the auto setting. And to use Pro mode to get the right settings, then there's no telephoto lens!!!! POS software!!!! I am realizing they crippled the phone so we can't get good concert pics or vids. That must be why. So many people record concerts and the bands or their record labels can't stop people from recording their concerts but Google and Apple can make it harder to get "good" shots by limiting the features for photos and videos. So people can't make money off their concerts not that people can get much money out of amatuer photos from a phone.
