Configure my Note 4 to send photos to SD card?

Open the camera,
click setting,
Click the triple dots
Click storage location
Then choose the location.

Thanks very much. Now, if I create a folder within the SD card, can I configure photos to go to that specific folder?

I don't believe that you can specify a specific folder using the Camera Settings.
And as I am sure you are aware video is only saved to the internal storage, it can't be saved from the camera directly to the extSD card.

Photos taken with the camera will always go to the folder named DCIM in your choice of either internal memory or SD card.

unfortunately, you cannot specify a particular location inside of the SD card (unless you are rooted) for the photo to be stored.

My video has always saved to SD card (in KitKat & in Lollipop). Third party camera app I use also saves stills and video to SD card.

When I inserted my SD card in my Note 4, I believe it gave me a notice that pictures would now be saved to the card automatically.

That is interesting. The stock camera on my Verizon Note 4 under 5.0.1 does allow me to save both "pictures" and "videos" Whereas under the original OS version on my Note 4 it did not. Thanks.
