Hello, I'm experiencing an issue with my LG G5. I was sick of the stock rom and installed lineage 14.1. i am running Android version 7.1.2. I took my phone to a repair guy finally to root my phone and install a custom rom. Worked great! Them started slowing down. Slower and slower, even after the overclock. Once I installed the new rom lineage I seem to have lost my root. So I guess I have a few questions. First, how do I flash a new rom? I don't understand how to get into TWRP recovery so I can flashNot sure if it's gone or I'm retarded. Also how could I lose root and how do I get it back? Someone please help!

I would take the phone back to the repair guy that rooted your phone and start there. Hopefully he can figure out what went wrong and fix your phone.

I just rooted a tab pro 8.4 yesterday. Look for an app in the play store called "root checker" to confirm you still have root privleges.
If you still have root then the twrp app is in the play store as well. I watched a youtube video on how to root my tablet and install a linage rom on it to get from 4.4.2 to 7.1.2 on the galaxy tab pro and I could not get it to load the twrp the way he was saying to do it with flashify but I found I could install twrp directly from the app store once rooted and only needed the ROM and Google apps on an Sd card and from there it was simple.
