Confusion on Multiple Device Administrators, can I get some help?

Confusion on Multiple Device Administrators

I'm completely new to the smartphone world and just recent got a Droid Mini. I'm working my way through the various ways of securing my phone and I'm a bit confused on the Device Administrators page. There are multiple items listed that all seem to do pretty much the same functions. Do I need to activate them all or are they truly just different Administrators doing the same thing? The Administrators listed are: Motorola Device Policy, Android Device manage, Support & Protection, Local Wipe Policy.

In your position, I'd definitely leave the first two alone. The other two may not be necessary, but do some research about them before deciding.
