Connect 2 Smart Watches to S23 Ultra

Searching this subject didn't give me any answers. I decided to use the Samsung Promo Code provided with my new phone to upgrade to the Galaxy Watch4 Classic. I would like to continue using my Watch3 when working outside and in rougher environments while using the new watch at other times. Can both watches be connected at the same time or would it be necessary to re-connect each time I switch watches?

You can connect 2 watches but you can only use one at a time. If you put one on the other will disconnect. At least, that's how it was when I used to use two watches on my S21 Ultra

For me it made me reset the watch each time

Yes you should be able to add the other watch and switch between the two.

I have the watch 5 and watch 5 Pro connected to my S23U. Can't use them at the same time, but I alternate the days with them. No issues.
