Connect Note10+ to external speakers on DeX?

I understand that when you connect a device via an HDMI input it sends the sound through the HDMI cable. Can I reroute the audio output so the sound goes through my PC speakers rather than my monitor? There's an output on the hub I'm using for audio, and the speakers are plugged into that but it either plays through my monitor or through "headphones". When it goes through the headphones though, there's no sound at all.

I know the simple answer would be to buy a Bluetooth speaker and connect to that. But, is there anything else that I can do? Or am I SOL on this one?
