Connected smartwatch battery drain?

I am debating between a Z3 and Moto x 2014 for purchase next week, and i have concerns over the moto X battery of course.

How have others experienced battery drain when a smartwatch is connected? i like to have my pebble on at all times, but on my current phone ( Blackberry Q10 ) that leads to about 1/3rd of the battery life when it is not connected.

I have no battery issues using my ZenWatch with my Moto X Pure Edition... I have not seen ANY abnormal battery usage compared to before I purchased the watch... it just uses Bluetooth that I have on 24/7 on my Moto X.

I can't notice any drain, if it exists, very very minimal

How is that combination going for you. My Moto X will be here Monday and my Moto 360 will be here hopefully sometime by the end of the month. Was curious how the duo work together.
