Connecting a network drive on my tab?

I am able to connect to network storage using ES File Explorer. I'm certain there are others that will do the same but that's the one I like and use. It also does ftp, bluetooth and others.

my hard disk is connected to a modem.. is it possible to connect my tablet to the harddisk?

Thanks for the info....the program (EZ file explorer) made it really easy and took less than 5 minutes to set up....hardest part was getting my login information entered for my NAS (not a program limitation)
