Connecting Bluetooth headphones to Smartwatch 3

Hi All,

Hoping someone might be able to help with this query?

I'm pretty new to both Android and Android Wear. I've got a Samsung Galaxy A3 and a Sony Smartwatch 3.

I've got a pair of bluetooth headphones that I've paired with the watch, but everytime I turn them off and then back on again, I have to go through the settings menu, to the bluetooth devices menu, and then connect to the paired headphones. It's only a small issue, but I'd have thought they would have connected automatically given they're already paired?

Has anyone else had experience of this?
