Connecting my Galaxy s5 to laptop via USB no longer show the files and folders.

My usual process for downloading my pictures onto my laptop is to connect the device via USB cable to my laptop. For about 3 months now, the files and folders on the device are no longer visible in windows explorer. I can see the samsung device, but there are no folders or files when I click on the device name. I thought this would have been due to a recent update, but i have since installed at least one additional update which did not solve the issue. Any ideas?

Make sure that, when you pull down Notifications, you have MTP chosen.
