Hi all,

I'm having issues with my Huawei P6 (Android 4.2.2).

It doesn't want to connect with my car and when it does want to connect I can't acces my phonebook or make calls. Nokia 301 connects fine with bluetooth.

When connecting with aux the sound is distant. Even on max volume it doesn't have a full sound. (And I got scared to death when the traffic information came on).

What can I do about these issues? I don't think my car is the problem (Opel Astra Tourer).

Can other phones connect to your car with phone book access? Maybe the car dealership can update the O/S for the infotainment system to the most recent version?

My Nokia 301 connects without any issue with phonebook.

When I manage to connect my Huawei, I can receive calls. But no phonebook or outgoing calls. And of course it only connects when I have removed the coupling between devices first.

Does the Huawei work properly on other cars? Maybe a newer model year? If so, then it does sound like maybe the OS for the infotainment system needs to be updated.
