Has anyone figured out how to connect their Razr Maxx HD to a Mac? I tried Android File Transfer, but it won't detect my phone. I tried installing Motorola Device Manager, but while it sorta kinda detects my phone, it doesn't seem to be mounting my drive. I am using AirDroid as a substitute, but I don't think I want to transfer large files, like movies I ripped from my DVDs, via WiFi.

Are you using the USB cable that came with the phone? If not, thats probably your problem. I can charge my phone with any usb cable, but data transfter needs to use the motorola supplied cable. FWIW, I have a mac, and use Android file Transfer with no problems.

Odd. I can tell you that I have the MOTO drivers installed, and use Android File Transfer. And phone is set to Media Device. I can tell you that with the JB update, you can no longer mount your phone via USB as a drive on your PC.

OK, I figured it out. Apparently, I have to reboot my computer after installing Motorola Device Manager. I wish I had seen something like that during the installation process. Using Android File Transfer works now.
