I was using my phone to connect to school and since the last update (the ?bug? fix) I can no longer connect to my class at school on my phone. The school did a diagnostic test and says that I need to use a Safari Version 533.1 browser and that my java is either disabled or not installed?.HUH?

Well, I don?t know a thing about programming a phone?I am that person that just presses a button and hopes that the phone does what its supposed to do. Can someone tell me (basic instructions) how to get, and install, a ?Safari Version 533.1 browser? and how to tell if I have Java on my phone or point me in the right direction? Below is what my settings/about phone says?

Model: Samsung-SGH-I997
Firmware: 2.2.1
Baseband version I997UCKH1
Kernel version: 2.6.32.9

Thank you soooooooooo much.

Oh...never mind. Can't believe this but I just switched my storage of stuff from my SD card to my phone and when trying to access school it now, all of the sudden, works great! Imagine ...by just switching storage from SD card to phone. Thanks anyway. ::eek:

That's good that you found a solution on this, and what exactly did you transfer to your phones' storage? Also,I have heard that if any apps or such is giving you problems that switching it to the phones' internal sd always seems to help

Thank you. Oh, I switched from my phone to the SD because I am getting ready to transfer my iTunes songs to my phone and need a bunch of space. Many on this board seem to like Google Music that doesn't use storage on the phone, but where I sit at work I barely get a good phone connection. That is why I'm trying to see how best to get my music, even if I have to download it all into my phone.

Thanks again for the good tips.
