I have only had my razor maxx a few months is now all of a sudden it seems almost everyday I lose cell service and my net a lot it goes in and out and I don't even move the phone. I am wondering if I am missing something or if it is cause by the update?
 
Could be the update... But I would call your service provider and have them send a "hit" to your phone to reset everything on their side. Worked for me once.

Try dialing *228 and hitting option 2. Always helps me. But I am not liable or responsible for anything that happens to your phone!

I don't think *228 does anything for 4G phones, only for 3G.

You could try an app called Restore Connectivity Settings, which is by Motorola (search for it on Google Play).

could also be a bad sim. they will send you a new one free.
