Connection Problems Appear To Be A Real Problem

I'm waiting on my N6 to be delivered later this week and started to see this problem all over XDA and Google Groups Product Forums. Seems kind of worrisome. It appears the loss of cell and data connections is pretty wide spread. Google group discussion here:

I've never had an issue connecting on VZW. I have an odd issue where every now and then the LTE symbol disappears, but I still have LTE data connection. But I've never had a disconnect.

I've never had this issue as of yet. Well, not as extreme anyway. In 5.1 I did have it happen a few times, but it came back on its own after a while, or after a reboot. Once it did, it disappeared for a while. It seemed to happen after suddenly losing connection to a WiFi connection ( i.e. walking away from router range quickly). Yet, I could still make calls. Data related things were out of the question, yes, but calls worked fine. So did SMS

After the 5.1.1 from T-Mobile, I haven't seen it at all anymore. My guess is WiFi Calling fixed it somehow, because due to this feature, my Nexus 6 switches from WiFi to LTE seamlessly, especially while in a call.

I mentioned this before... I saw something similar back when my LYZ28E build had been OTA'd to get there.... There were no full factory images posted at the time. I'd have mobile data drop out and go out to lunch when uploading or downloading large files (the M preview image, TB backups pushed to GD).

I've since flashed the full LYZ28E factory image and have yet to run into my mobile data going off like this (other than when the signal legitimatly drops out)

Mine will lte will disappear. I've even service drop the restart. Also got msg that call didn't go thru due to server. Vw sending me new sim card. Will keep you posted
