Connection?

Every now and again( but it's doing it more and more lately) I'll be doing something and I'll randomly drop 3g and voice( both icons will be blank or light grey. Then a few seconds later they will come back fine like nothings wrong. Anyone have a fix for this, Sprint keeps saying there's nothing they can do about it, and the last time they said I should do a factory reset but I don't think that will fix the issue.
