This has now happened to me a several occasions, so I'm now wondering if anyone else is encountering it. Sometimes, even though I show a strong 4G signal, my phone will claim no data connection. I've had this happen on other phone, but could usually get by it by either turning wifi or airplane mode on/off....but with this phone i have to reboot. I hate rebooting.....brings me back to my early Blackberry days. It's to be expected once in a blue moon setting up a new device, or when making a lot of changes, but this is daily use. Upon rebooting, my data issue is gone. BTW....I'm on Verizon. I've had similar issues with Wifi, but that could just be my ****ty router, so I'm not convinced that's the phones problem yet.

I haven't experienced this issue or heard about it on these forum pages.
Since you say you've experienced it with previous devices it may be a location issue. The place this happens to you might be a place with sporadic or poor cell/Wi-Fi coverage.
If it is truly the handset that is an intolerable issue and you need to get a replacement.

I saw something over on reddit recently where someone was having an issue with a old Buffalo router and wifi disconnects probably because their 2.4 ghz and 5 ghz shared the same SSID and password. They did not mention having to reboot.
