beginNing this morning I've been getting alot of browser crashes. No force close message. Anyone else. I'm running ddo3 with version 5 from joey.

I have been having the same issues. It only happened after I changed the homescreen to Google. Once I switched it back to the "sprint vision" stock homepage it acted normal again. I tried to go to Google and everytime I did it would close itself once it loaded the page. Not sure whats going on. I'm on 2.1 w/ the Joey recovery and DD10.

I would just avoid the google site until they come out with a fix or the final build is released. So far I have had good luck running with the stock Sprint homepage without any crashes. You can try using the Dolphin browser also. It works fine as a default too. Thats the only suggestions that I have to keep it from crashing for now.. Hopefully, we arnt the only two having this issue.

Not sure if your able to get to the settings to change the homepage with it crashing but if you open the browser assuming you have google as the homepage and you click the menu button and click the "stop" button before it fully loads it will let you access settings and you can "reset to default" all your browser setting and should be back to the stock Sprint page. Thats what I did to stop it from crashing.

Same issue with DD10 for me. I've left the stock browser on there but I use Dolphin Browser as my default. It does not have that issue and Google is my home.

I have only had this error when I had the location turned on for google.com. turned it off (just for the web page not the whole phone) for the page and haven't had a issue all week.

Never mind this stupid comment. Just trying to get 5 effen comments out so I can send an effen PM. This effen sucks. WTF's the point?!!!

Samsung Moment Browser Crashes with Google

An easier way to solve this problem, is to open the browser on the Sprint page

1. Press the menu key
2. Select "More"
3. Go to the bottom, select "Settings"
4. Go to the bottom again, select "Website settings"
5. Chose Google
6. Select "Clear location access"

Sprint tries to force you to use their search over Goggle's. This is why it happens.

To permanently by pass this, bookmark Google and then create a link to this bookmark on your main screen. You'll never see Sprint again.

I stopped this by disabling the use location in the browser settings. After I did this I didn't have any problems.
