Constantly rebooting.

For you forum regulars sorry if this is a duplicate thread. I couldn't find a similar post.

Is anyone else having issues with the phone rebooting constantly. At first I didn't have problems. Now I am and it is killing my battery. Sometimes it even shuts down itself.

Anyone else? Should I request a new phone?

not a problem for me but I would just call up and get a new phone..... I got a new one last week for a gps problem.

Not once with my S3. It was a regular occurrence with my DROID X.

yep started for me rebooted when answering call, rebooted when ending call rebooted when blanking screen, called tech support told them I did the obligatory battery and sim card pull, factory reset etc, they said ok and sent out new overnight been good since knock on wood.

Thoroughly tested mine for 3 days .... no reboots .... had a rezound that just turned off & a Bolt that rebooted when going into 4G a long time ago .... no problems with the S3 at all! Get a new one from VZ

Called Verizon today and went there. Both places assured me an update would be out soon. Also noted my account so if I go into a store again no questions asked exchange.

Update to remove universal search most likely. To fix reboot no. Sounds like an app issue install any new apps recently. A factory reset might also fix this
