Consumer Cellular can't group text with Verizon

I have a Huawei Ascend Mate 2. Right before Thanksgiving my group text stopped working. They troubleshooted everything except I have not wiped my phone clean and started over. After lots of testing on my part, it seems to be anyone on Verizon, I can't group text with. The text comes in and says downloading but never downloads. They are telling me the Verizon people have to get a hold of Verizon. That doesn't make sense to me since Verizon can group text with T-Mobile. I still think it's something to do with Consumer Cellular. Anybody else have this problem? Thanks.

I used to have the problem with group texts saying they were downloading and not doing it. My Consumer Cellular provider was TMobile. I changed cards to make my Consumer Cellular provider AT&T and I changed a bunch of settings. For a while I thought the problem was solved.But now it's worse than telling me a message arrived and not downloading - it's now decided to start not notifying me at all that someone tried to reach me with a group text. I found you googling my problem and I guess I'll have to call Consumer Cellular text support. Incidentally, the person I didn't get group texts from today was using an iphone with AT&T service. I still get individual texts.
