Hi Guys. I received my S7 Edge last March 23, so i noticed it last March 24 that when after I woke up i noticed a lot of battery percent is gone. Last night it was 65% then when i woke up it is now 23%. A total of 7.5 hrs in off screen. Anyone experienced this same issue?

What else was your phone doing overnight? Have a look at the battery stats.

Something's running in the background chewing up battery, I think. Mine dropped from 76 to 69 percent last night. Do you have always on display running? That uses about 1% per hour.

Here. Always on is activated. I turned off the screen at 7:15am then i woke up at 230pm.

Two likely culprits, BT and low signal strength. Both will kill your battery faster than water running through a strainer. Oh, and BTW, the always - on screen only draws about 0.5% an hour, not 1%.

There is most likely an app or service keeping the phone from going into Deep Sleep. Check each entry in battery section to see which one has a large wake time.

Ideally, you should install GSam Battery Monitor and it will give you a good breakdown of what is happening. Good luck!

Is your device fully updated and have you tried a factory reset?

It's possible you got a bad device, but I'd give it a reset before considering returning it.

Havent tried a factory reset. I just charged it up when it was turned on for the first time.

Very hassle to factory reset. Need to back up then install again.
