I found something out today, and I was curious.
On the Contacts manager on mail.google.com, you can add AIM and Skype usernames. These names sync over to Android contacts, and you even get the option to "chat using AIM", or "chat using Skype". However, upon selecting those options, it just sits there, and doesn't take you to an area where you can actually chat.
So..
Do you need to download the Skype app, etc., or is this just a feature that hasn't been fleshed out? Or am I just not being patient enough? Installing Skype Lite Beta does nothing.
