Contact custom notifications

Why can I not set a custom notification to a contact on the S9? Am I missing something?

I was told by Samsung agents that this feature was removed.

it's still available on the at&t model.

Yes you can assign a custom ring tone for a contact but you can't assign a custom notification tone for text messages

He's talking about Text Tones. And he is absolutely correct. This feature was removed on Oreo S9. Pretty stupid on Samsung.
