Hello Everyone,

Really impressed with the G2. Discovering more and more about it each day but also working on a few flaws (or things I don't understand) and really hoping someone or a few of you can help.

1) How can I completely turn off vibration? I never ever want to use it and always have a vibration alert button in the top of the screen even though I never have vibration on.

2) Some apps (such as Whatsapp, BBM, and calculator) just multiply. Yesterday there was one icon for BBM and one Icon for the calculator. Today I opened the phone and I saw two icons for BBM and for the calculator. I selected the multiple ones and put them in the remove folder. I did this before with Whatsapp as well. Does anyone know what this could be?

3) How do I select where phone numbers are stored? To SIM or phone?

I think that's it for now.

Thank you so much

If my reply sounds mean, I'm sorry.

Did you own an Android phone before moving to the G2 one? If so, then:

1) Go to System Settings > Sounds and uncheck "vibrate when ringing" and "vibrate on touch"
Then go to Language and Input (in Settings) and select the setfings for whichever keyboard you use (Google or LG) and uncheck "vibrate on touch".

2) For the duplicate icons try uninstalling the apps and reinstall them fresh.

3) In my opinion, it's best to store the phone numbers on you Gmail accounts so you have a constant backup (even if you switch Android phones in the future) rather than the SIM or phone storage.
