I have moved my contacts from Samsung AOS2 to my Pixal9 Pro. However all my contacts are one big list. On my Samsung I have several (List) folders that I was able to group contacts into. On the Pixal that does not appear to be available. I did create a new list on the Pixal thru the contact but when I try to move a contact it does not happen. Any ideas thank you.

You should be able to group contacts on a Pixel phone through the Contacts app (you can't do it with the contacts found in the Google Phone app). Your Contacts app may not be on your homescreen, but can be found in the app drawer. Info regarding grouping contacts may be found HERE.

OK I tried that, But when I go to add a contact It won't open up the list of contacts
I think that is true. If a contact already existed in my list of contacts and I wanted to add them to a specific group, what I did was open the contact's information in the Google Phone app (or Google Contacts app), tap the edit pencil (top right) and scroll down to Add to Labels to add them to the group (label) of my choice.

I don't know this for sure because I've never done it, but if you created groups using the Samsung Contacts app, they may not transfer over to Google Contacts as Labels. I can tell you, though, that the converse is true -- if you created Labels in Google Contacts, those do get recognized in Samsung Contacts.

Are you saying that if you tap the Label icon at the upper right (the one that looks like a pentagon pointing to the right), you don't see any existing Labels? If so, that means you'll have to create new Labels on your own, and then re-organize your contacts into the groups that you want.

OK some how, this time I created a new list when I went to the list at the bottom you can add from your contacts which I was not able to do before for some reason, after you select the contacts that you want to add, go to the top and click the check mark
