Contact photo is small when dialing?

I have a Galaxy S6 with the latest version of Android and default dialer. My contact photo for this person is a high resolution photo, it's stored on the phone and I added it to the contact card.

When I dial, the photo is very small as you can see. My mother has a S4 and her photo takes up the entire green section. How can I set mine to do the same thing?

As far as I know, the photo size was changed in Lollipop. Earlier version OS'... like KitKat, fills the whole screen. Is your Mom's phone still on Kitkat? If it is, then that's the reason.

I have the same issue with my Note 5 running Lollipop 5.1.1 and it's driving me crazy. My S5 is running Lollipop 5.0.1 and the contacts pics are large. If you find a solution let me know. Thanks!
