Contact Transfer Issue

Hi All,

I just recently switched from a droid turbo to a Samsung s6 edge. I am on the Verizon network. It doesn't seem that all of my contacts transferred over. I am missing quite a few. I did backup my contacts via Google and via Verizon cloud on the droid turbo. Upon starting the Galaxy s6 I did download the contacts from Google and the Verizon cloud. Over the past few days I have noticed multiple contacts missing. I went back to the droid turbo which I still have in my possession and re backed up my contacts to the Google cloud over Wi-Fi. I was unable to back them up via the Verizon cloud because my sim card is no longer in the phone and it is not connected to the network. I had originally thought that perhaps the contacts I was missing were not uploading to the Google Cloud. I checked my Google contacts via the web and found them there. Does anyone know what the problem might be? Is there any other way to transfer the contacts from the droid turbo to the s6.

Thanks,
L

If they're in your Google Contacts on the web, they really should be syncing to the S6 Edge. On the phone, open Contacts, tap Menu (or More)>Contacts to Display, and make sure it's set to All Contacts. Also, go to System Settings>Accounts-Google>[your account] and make sure Contacts is syncing successfully.

You should be able to use Smart Switch to transfer contacts.
